Shannon Hammitt was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and began dancing and acting at just two years old. She trained at the renowned Larkin Dance Studio under the guidance of Shirley Larkin, Michelle Larkin, Molly Larkin Symanietz, and Ted Kivett, immersing herself in the studio’s legacy of excellence. Shannon competed as a dancer until age nineteen, when her passion for the performing arts led her to Chicago to pursue a B.A. in Musical Theater and Dance.

After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to continue chasing her dreams. A lifelong lover of dance and classic musicals, Shannon grew up watching Golden Age films with her mother on Turner Classic Movies and developed a deep admiration for Lucille Ball. In a full-circle moment, Shannon interviewed with legendary choreographer and producer Anita Mann—who had once been Lucille Ball’s assistant—and was hired as Mann’s Executive Assistant in 2007.

Over the years, Shannon has built a respected career in advertising and marketing for live stage productions. She has been an integral part of the success of FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease, the longest-running adult revue in Las Vegas, now celebrating 26 years of production.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shannon is the proud mother of three daughters and an active force in their school community. She has served as PTA President, Vice President, and Vice President of Fundraising, and she founded the Elementary Musical Theater Program at Weathersfield Elementary in Thousand Oaks, fostering a love of the arts in the next generation.
